George Dyke offer detailed assistance, and welcome dialogue at the quotation stage to improve the possibility of finding a 'Best case' solution to applying forging techniques to customers products.
Forgings can be produced in all grades of carbon and alloy steels as well as stainless steels and micro-alloyed steels. In addition George Dyke can apply specialist heat treatment requirements including advice on the most suitable treatments.
To assist customers with identifying the most appropriate materials and finishes for their forgings, so that they will get maximum 'fitness for purpose', George Dyke technical personnel are readily on hand.
As well as technical assistance, backed up by CAD for product and die design, combined with EDM machinery for die production, George Dyke can also assist with sampling to enable customers to trial forgings ideas prior to full scale production.
Continual investment in new plant and equipment is enabling George Dyke to expand forging applications so that there is even greater scope for customers to source components and parts with greater durability and greater variety.
